Egg is on quite a few faces today, that is if anyone still even cares to be correct anymore
in the "anal-ysts" category. WIthout knowing the real numbers of Mac shipments,
so called know it alls were saying how shipments were down and market share was down
and sales were down etc., weeks before Apple said their peace today. It's like local TV news
where you've got all this time to fill between the commercials whether you've got any
real news or not, so just put on police chases and arrests and how to ask your doctor
for the latest drug the pharmaceutical companies are pushing you to buy.
Will humans ever get to a point where they trust themselves to make their own
decisions instead of so-called experts, authority figures, celebrities and people
with more money than they have? I know it's easier to just follow, otherwise
their would be no religion. But we have got to break free from all this hero worship
and learn the facts on our own and make our own decisions. With the web this is now
possible in ways never before imaginable. But actual, physical legwork is not
to be discounted either, as the seeing-is-believing test can be quite helpful as well.
All you have to do if you want to figure out what the deal with Apple is, is ask someone
what music player they use, what cell phone they have or just go into an Apple Store
at any time of the day, on any day. If you do that small amount of basic research and you
can't see what's going on with Apple, then yes, by all means listen to anyone with a column
in print or online telling you Apple is crap because they only have 7% market share or whatever.
Lame brains all.
